Wyeverne Electrical is a family run independent electrical wholesalers established in 1948, based in the city centre of Cardiff. With a long history in electrical supplies and real hands-on experience of the trade, we offer a wide range of electrical products with a speedy service, reliable stock levels (thanks to our large storage facility) and fair prices for both the trade and the public making us one of the leading electrical wholesalers in Cardiff.

Since starting out in Wyeverne Road in 1948, we have been able to grow and adapt to meet the needs of a changing market and over this time we have been able to gain valuable knowledge and experience of the trade allowing us to evolve with the ever changing market.

We pride ourselves in the ability to offer a wide range of electrical products at fair, competitive prices for all customers, trade or public. We strive in our capability of holding extensive volumes of stock due to our large storage facility located right opposite our premises which enables us to have reliable and consistent stock levels.

Our History

How we started, to our current position.

1948

Established

In 1948, Wyeverne Electrical was established as an electrical contracting company and began trading from Wyeverne Road which inspired and influenced our name.

Mid to Late 60s

Expansion

During the mid to late 60s, Wyeverne Electrical was bought by its previous owner who relocated the company to Woodville Road to expand the contacting company to an electrical supply shop.

1994

Current Owner

In 1994, Wyeverne Electrical was bought by its current owner.

1999

Relocation

In 1999, the current owner relocated the business to Cyfarthfa Street into a larger warehouse and showroom.

2018

New Premises

After outgrowing our premises and having an ambition to evolve, in October 2018 we moved to our current location in Crofts Street in celebration of our 70th anniversary. With a larger showroom spread across the top floor, our modernised warehouse/counter below and bulk storage warehouse located right opposite, it was a perfect purpose built solution for our changing needs.
